When Immanuel first joined Drumstruck Studios at the age of 7, no one could have imagined that just five years later, he would achieve a Grade 8 Distinction—a feat many adults find daunting.
His parents, Darryl and Christina David, recalled being recommended to Joshua Agilan, the founder of Drumstruck, by a trusted friend. And from the very first lesson, it was clear this wasn’t just another drum class.

Joshua saw potential in Immanuel early on. With his trademark mix of encouragement and excellence, Joshua helped nurture both skill and self-belief in his student. Over the years, Immanuel flourished under the guidance of the Drumstruck team—eventually passing his Rockschool Grade 8 Drum Kit exams with Distinction at just 12 years old.
