We’re bursting with pride as one of our youngest students, Uma Bhattacharya, brings home the Gold Award at Marlborough College Malaysia’s prestigious Young Musician’s Award competition!
At just 7 years old, this talented young drummer has been learning with Drumstruck Studios since the age of 4—and her dedication has truly paid off.
In her own words:
"I have been learning to play the drums since I was 4 years old with Drumstruck Studios. It was my first time taking part in a music competition and I never expected to win.
When I received the news that I had won the Gold Award, I was pleasantly surprised and very happy. I started jumping up and down and my mom and dad were so proud of me. All my practice sessions and efforts I had put in for a perfect performance had paid off.
I just want to say that I love to play the drums and I want to play the drums till I’m 100 years old if I can!"
