When Wen Jie began his very first trial drum lesson in July 2012, no one knew for sure if he would fall in love with drumming. What we did know was this — his teacher had to be someone passionate, engaging, a true role model, and someone the whole family could connect with.
Much to our joy, we found all of that — and more — at Drumstruck Studios.
From day one, the support and dedication from his instructors helped Wen Jie thrive. In just 2.5 months, he completed his Debut, Grade 1, and Grade 2 drum syllabi — an incredible feat for any young learner. But he didn’t stop there. Within his first 11 months of learning, Wen Jie earned not one, but two prestigious awards at separate competitions — all before turning six!
This wouldn’t have been possible without the right guidance, mentorship, and the nurturing environment at Drumstruck. Every teacher here goes the extra mile, and we are so thankful for the effort and heart they put into every lesson.
