We have some golden news to share!
Our very own Haz Ryean has been crowned Champion - Drum Category at The Stephenian Factor, the annual talent showcase organised by the Music Department of St. Stephen's School.
The Stephenian Factor is St. Stephen's signature stage where talent truly takes centre stage. Held as a special Teachers' Day Showcase on September 3rd 2026, the competition brings together Stephenians who hold recognised music grades across Piano, Voice, Dance and Instrumental categories. With judges' decisions being final and the standard incredibly high, winning Champion is no small feat.
Haz Ryean took to the stage with his drumsticks and delivered a performance that won the hearts of the judges, bringing home the beautiful gold star trophy engraved with:

The Stephenian Factor
Seeing him hold that trophy with such a proud smile is a moment we will never forget. Behind that trophy are countless hours of drum lessons, practice, dedication and a true love for drumming.
This win adds to his growing musical journey. As seen in the background, Haz Ryean is also a recipient of a Certificate of Distinction for the Grade 3 Rockschool Drum Exams and Rockschool Top Prize Winner for Grade 2 category in 2025 and Grade 3 category in 2026, a testament to his consistency and passion.
To the teachers and Music Department of St. Stephen's School, thank you for creating a platform like The Stephenian Factor to let our children shine and celebrate their talents.
And to Haz Ryean — As our Drumstruck Studios slogan goes, 'Others dream of Success, We make it happen!' Keep drumming, keep dreaming and make it happen! This is just the beginning. We are so proud of you!
Congratulations, Champion!
